- Hey guys, anyway I can get a shirt from this? My best friend(Jim Diguiseppe) was a EOD Diver and we used to attend the Recall all the time until he moved several years ago. I'm going to visit him and his wife next week and wanted to take him a shirt. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

- Past President’s Keg Challenge Clarification:
During the early days of the Recall, we did not have “Recall Presidents” per se, we had Recall Committees. We did not use the term President until we became a not for profit 501c. Some of us took on a bigger role on the committees and we all know who did more coordinating than others during those early days. For example Billy Self hosted the first Recall at his house; therefore he was deemed the first Recall president. For the second Recall Marty Costello began coordinating Recall meetings on-base at the Helm Club where we had strict rules not to have a beer until after the meeting was over to avoid making beer goggle decisions. Later the meetings moved to Poppas Pub. The FRA location was first recommended by Jim Starcher then we met Jim Scarbrough and the Divers Recall has been held there ever since. I wanted to clarify this as I did get a question on who should be credited as being president early on. P.S. RIP to Capt. Dov Paff, he passed on this week and he was a past Recall recorder and advocate. I also wanted to mention Ken Locklear who passed away earlier this year. He was a pioneer in hyperbaric medicine and a Recall committee member during the second annual Recall. R/Marty Costello
